Right now this page won’t be a lot of help in selecting a loco as we don’t intend (yet) to list each model we carry at this stage: However we’d like to explain about how we approach the loco’s we DO carry in stock! Firstly, they cover a wide range of Brands… We can access most EU brands, we carry a selection of Hornby and Bachmann as well as BlueLine, BLI Paragon, PCM, Atlas etc… and occasionally, MTH However we do NOT simply sell any of them “as bought” In fact, we never intended to carry loco’s at all but became very tired of others, especially your local retailers selling you a loco then telling you to come to us to have it fixed when they couldn’t work out how to install it, or if it had a chip….even how to change its number! So… we decided to do it as it should be done: Properly! Therefore….. We always install quality decoders in every loco we sell, and where a loco is already equipped, we will tune it properly AND preset its address before you see it on the shelf: NO loco we sell will ever get to you without running perfectly… no more opening the box and finding you need to work on it to get the best running… or to make it run at all as is common! Bachmann and Hornby will never have Bachmann and Hornby decoders as we do not think they are good enough—they will always have ESU if sound, or TCS if non-sound. They will be pre-run and tested as perfect AND be set up to crawl at speed step 1 without fail. Atlas will never have the ex factory decoder either… it will usually be a latest software version TCS, set up and tuned. BlueLine loco’s will ALWAYS be pre-chipped, tuned and addressed. MTH loco’s always give their owners problems with addressing, and we are one of the very few dealers who understand these locos and can programme them for long address, so if you want help, be sure to drop in! Most importantly… A loco from us will rarely cost you as much as it will from any other local (AU) retailer… We make sure we offer only the best, and give the best possible value.
