 MP311A Box jointed tapered long jaw pliers.

Text Box: These have A slightly shorter and heavier jaw structure than the MP 311A. The straight taper of the pliers jaws gives constant strength along its length for jobs needing a heavier grip. Excellent for working with slightly thicker materials.

MP500 Box jointed round jaw pliers

Text Box: The hardened, tapered round jaws close evenly along their length and are excellent for creating curved shapes in wire or copper, brass and nickel silver strip material. A useful tool that can also adjust Kadee coupler trip pins, gently tweak sand-pipes and fine wire detail parts or bend specially shaped handrails with ease. If your “other half” is into crafts watch them carefully or they may disappear into her craft tool box - they are extremely useful in making wire jewellery too!

 MP 252 Rivet jointed long parallel jaw pliers.

MP 251A Rivet jointed long tapered jaw pliers.

Text Box: Tapering in width from 3mm to 1.2mm, these pliers are very strong yet fine enough for delicate work. Jaws are designed to close parallel at 0.01” to allow efficient gripping of sheet materials. Comfortable grip, sprung action. They have a very comfortable grip, and positively sprung action.

Our DCCconcepts Shears are incredibly versatile, with even the more delicate 2” shear capable of cutting anything up to .015 steel, nickel silver and brass sheet,  yet precise enough to cut fine paper and plastic.

The cut is so precise on our 2” shear that it will also cut the etching “cusp” cleanly from etched components with perfect results!

All our shears are made with the best quality components and are totally guaranteed to do the job properly every time.

They can be sharpened to new condition with a couple of passes of our incredibly easy to use tungsten carbide sharpening tool too.

 MP141 50mm / 2” super sharp modelling shears.

Text Box: Whilst we had lots of cutters and nippers there was nothing available for precise long cuts. So we created these excellent shears! They are happy with paper, card, styrene or any sheet material. They excel cutting and trimming any sheet metal including brass and nickel silver up to .015 (0.4mm) too - and are sharp enough to cut the edge “cusp” off etchings!
